Want to Make a Family-Size Difference This Year?

Consider adopting a family!

For many of the families we work with, the holidays can be an especially trying time. Years ago, Boys & Girls Clubs of Capistrano Valley developed its Adopt-a-Family program to help make the holidays a more joyous time for families in need by connecting them to the generosity of our investors.

Through this ‘adoption’ process, donors are matched with a family that the Club’s have preselected. Each family has a wishlist of gifts and necessities that the donor aims to fulfill. The donor shops from the wishlist, wraps the gifts, and drops them off at the designated family’s Clubhouse. Donors can also donate using our online webpage, where Club staff will use the funds to support a family.

Contact the Branch Director at the location you would like to Adopt a Family from.

REWARDING YOUTH WHO MAKE HOMEWORK A PRIORITY.

There is no greater feeling than being able to give a loved one a gift for the holidays. Operation Holiday Homework (OHH) provides our members an opportunity to shop for their entire family.

Every school day, members participate in Power Hour (homework help and after-school tutoring program). As members stay on task, quietly and respectfully, they receive daily points. These points get tallied up and members use their points to shop for their families in our OHH Shop. They even get to select a gift for themselves.

Our kids & teens will be shopping from a catalog of pre-determined gift categories which are purchased and donated from investors like you.

The 2023 OHH celebrations will be done in person. If you have volunteered before then you are probably just as excited as we are. If you have not, you are in for a remarkable day.
